I am giving away 4 nights at the Clarion Hotel Portland Airport (Oregon) for the dates of December 28, 2008 through January 1, 2009.The room is 1 King size bed, nonsmoking, and comes with a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel also has an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Which is good cause it will be winter.
I am giving this away because my husband and I no longer have the money to actually make the trip, and we booked the hotel early on Priceline. I was super excited because we saved a TON of money, but there are no refunds, exchanges, credits toward a future stay, etc. What I can do is change the name on the reservation, and that is how you will benefit.
Don't be worried, I already called the hotel, and I can change the name on the reservation, so this is for real. You will need to figure out how to get there, this is for the hotel only.

I'm sorry you can't go, Portland is awesome. This would be perfect for us, since we live 20 mins from Portland, so it would be like a vacation in our own city!! No driving, and easy access to babysitters(grandma and grandpa) what could be better!!

Let me also state how much I would be delighted to win this giveaway! Unfortunately circumstances changed my Christmas plans this year not allowing me to make it home for the holidays (to North Dakota), so I will be spending it w/out family here in Corvallis. This would be a super sweet 2nd choice.

We live way across the other side of PDX in the country... and boy, would it be nice to be somewhere for a few days where you did not have to wake up to "feed" the woodstove at night.
My son is "THIS" close to learning to swim - and access to an indoor HEATED pool for few days might just do the trick!
And IKEA is very very near this hotel. Oh, the Swedish meatballs and lingonberry juice... ahhh...
I will be visiting family in Oregon during this time, and a hotel stay would be great! Thanks for the giveaway!

We only live 3 hours from Portland and my husband and I could certainly use a mini-vacation (I've had 6 surgeries in the past 3 years and my poor husband has taken care of me, the house, our 3 kids, and both of our ailing grandparents - he deserves a break!).
